about food materials ship and export/import to Canada requirement

 

Before 2019 June, tea leafs import to Canada as ordinary cargo, but since then, Canada customs (CBSA) and Canada food Inspection agency (CFIA) new requirement. 

1. importer must have “Safe Food for Canadians License” before import food materials to Canada 

How to apply this license, please browser CFIA website  (https://www.inspection.gc.ca/) it tells how to apply its license, click key words “Safe Food for Canadians License Registration”

2. Import foods commodities, must provide foods ingredient list to (CBSA& CFIA) to apply its import license.

3. cosmetic products also have Health Canada certificate before import goods to Canada
